News from the Congress on Non-formal Education

How to develop your education business in a digital age? How quickly can you develop a presence in the online market and attract customers? The participants of the Congress on Non-formal Education, held September 18−19 in Warsaw, sought answers to these and other questions. IBE also sent a strong group of representatives to this event.

This was already the fourth edition of the Congress on Non-formal Education, the largest industry event gathering representatives of entities involved in supporting the idea of lifelong learning. This year’s edition was very popular with the education and career development sector. Crowds of representatives of training and consulting companies, universities and public institutions, as well as people professionally involved in coaching and mentoring gathered at the University of Warsaw Biological and Chemical Research Centre. Participants could listen to one of several dozen presentations, take part in numerous debates with experts or visit the exhibit stands. The topics discussed included the development of managerial skills, strategic management, as well as the mapping of qualifications and learning outcomes. The winners of “The Educational Innovation of 2019” competition were also presented.
